Daz Sampson will be representing the UK in Athens.

Six artists competed in the third edition of the pre-selection contest "Making Your Mind Up", broadcast on BBC 1 and online on March 4, 2006. Antony Costa and Kym Marsh have had some chart success, while the other three entrants to Making Your Mind Up had not had any real previous chart success in the UK. The contest was won by Daz Sampson, a veteran member of dance act Uniting Nations, with the song "Teenage Life". The song is written and composed by Daz Sampson & John Matthews.

Daz Sampson (DJ Daz) is a British dance DJ and singer. He started his music careers as a mobile DJ, but became more successful when he joined the group "Bus Stop". Daz Sampson is known for remixing popular music. His credits include the hit songs “Out of Touch” and “Kung-Fu Fighting”.
